Woodlands & walks

Most of Amanda’s paintings start out as responses to walks, be they local, at nature-reserves, or abroad. It is only when a significant body of similar works have been created that they are grouped under a project title. Here we have paintings that don’t fall into any of the more formal project focuses, but are all related by the fact they are produced in response to walks or time in nature.

Several of these works have been exhibited, including at Grounded, part of Frome Open Art Trail 2021, and Captured Light, 2019.
